You are a Loving God:)

It's 2:30 in the morning and I'm about to gas up my cab at the shell station, turn in and go home for some sleep. My tank is just under half and it's gonna cost me over 40 bucks to fill. As I am counting my day's fare money, a gentlemen approaches me asking "how much would it cost to get to San Jose from here?" I tell him, "It'll be about $120 to $130." I have become pretty skilled at guessing how much a fare will come to. With this one I was a little off. Anyhow, he says he's coming down from Truckee and his car broke down and needs a ride with his buddy the rest of the way. As I think about this, making sure I don't get scammed, I tell myself, this is a fare sent from God Himself. Being taken is something a taxi driver must always have on the front bumper. People want rides for nothing and taxi's are generally the way to go. I had them show cash up front as collateral and that set my mind at ease.

We all pile in the cab, me and two passengers on the road to San Jose. In the end, the fare came to $149.50. I was off but that's nature of getting a ride in a cab. You never know what's gonna happen.

I am blown away by the fact that God always provides at every turn. Literally. Even at the end of my shift. At least what I thought was the end. He didn't have to give me a giant fare to end my night. But He did and I shall praise Him for it.

Thank You Father, for you are kind and generous and loving:)
