I have been exhausted my last two shifts. I wasn't able to get any sleep on Friday night after my shift. So I got home, didn't sleep, left for work on Saturday. This shift ends at 2am, but I was falling asleep in my cab by midnight. I desperately wanted to call it a night right then and tell my boss it was far from safe. I ended up praying and asking God to provide me with the energy I needed to keep going. Fifteen minutes after my prayer, I felt like I had drank a monster. But this was better because it was energy from the one who breathes life. Low and behold, I was able to safely continue my shift and in those last two hours ended up getting 30 extra dollars. God Provides! God Provides! God Provides!
It astounds me at how much He is continually willing to give and give and give while I sinfully take take take.
These verses come to mind when I contemplate His abundant Grace.
Be Greatly Encouraged,
Matthew 7:7, “Ask, and it I'll be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
Psalms 84:11, "For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly."
James 4:2, "...yet you have not, because you ask not."
1 Timothy 6:17, "...God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy."
